Black Seed Honey still contains honey, but its overall flavour is much more intense and botanical than our sweeter varieties. Black seed, ginger and cinnamon give it a deeper, earthier character.
It can be enjoyed by the spoon, but it is positioned as a concentrated blend rather than an everyday sweet spread. Follow the serving guidance shown on the product label.
The product label lists raw honey, black seed / nigella seed, ginger, cinnamon, lemon, orange and bee pollen.
Natural honey can become firmer or crystallise depending on temperature and storage conditions. This is a normal characteristic of honey.
